Conversion to Synthetic Peptides

We realized that natural products especially coming from snake venoms will have resistance from Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Furthermore, production will depend on the availability of snake venoms and opossum serum. Although, animals are not killed for extraction of venom or blood, there is considerable stress, and therefore animal activists oppose it. India has already banned keeping snakes in captivity.

After painstaking and complicated research, we have identified the active domain for each natural product by our proprietary technology. The active domain for each protein is converted into synthetic version. The synthetic peptide for each product mimics biological activities for in vitro and in vivo systems. Synthetic peptide has several benefits over natural ones. It can be produced in abundance cheaply, with batch to batch reproducibility. Furthermore, synthesized out of ten to fifteen amino acids having low molecular weight can be given into buccal cavity from which it will be absorbed. It will overcome the blood-brain barrier.
